The Road Trip Up North Part 22: The Stillness Over Virgin Island- December 24, 2017

After that walk on the floating bridge, we finally reached Virgin Island. From the narrow island beach, there’s a concrete stairway leading to the top of the island. It was tiring to climb it so we had to stop many times. The view from the stairway, of course, was lovely and calming.

a calming view from the stairway
Me on the stairway, squinting again^^
The island was serene….

When we reached the top, we just sat there down, Lee drinking his canned beer and me, drinking my canned pineapple juice. We just sat there down, enjoying the cool sea breeze, looking at the azure waters, enjoying the quiet scenery.  The stillness of the place was occasionally disturbed by  the screams of the people ziplining from the nearby Governor’s Island.

After a few more minutes, we decided to move to another island.
